Homeplug Turbo Ethernet over Mains Homeplugs enable you to send network data around your home or office using your existing mains wiring. Ever had problems with your wireless network dropping out or being really slow, live in an old house with big walls, or fed up having loads of cables running everywhere? Well get a couple of homeplugs, plug an Ethernet cable from one device, be it a router, computer, switch or modem into 1 homeplug and bang it into a socket, then do the same somewhere else in your building and the homeplugs transfer your network data at high speed down your mains cable, they even include 56 bit DES Encryption with Key management to safely encrypt your data and stop other people hijacking your connection.

Homeplug Turbo 85Mbps Generally any circuit working on the same electricity meter will provide a good connection. Electrical power is supplied and distributed around your house at a frequency of 50Hz. However, the wires are actually capable of carrying a range of other frequencies which can be 'tuned-in' using appropriate equipment. Powerline technology takes advantage of this unused bandwidth of the electrical wiring in the home.

These homeplugs will work with both PC and MAC, but you will need at least 1 PC to set up your homeplug network. Don’t forget you need a minimum of 2 homeplugs to make a homeplug network.
